Inspired by the introduction sequence to Scott Pilgrim vs The World we wanted to take the viewer on a complete head spin with this high energy track – using dynamic warping, contra zoom camera movements and some subtle VFX to totally throw off their sense of perspective as the performance builds. As if that wasn’t enough, Lewis came up with the idea of having the set ‘come to life’ during the scene: props moving on their own accord and the walls of the room moving inwards as wind, thunder and lightening matching the increasing energy of the performance. Art Director, Jess Elcock, met the challenge head on; conducting the entire set build from scratch with rolling walls and a plethora of props wired, rigged and booby trapped to complete the mayhem. As always, awesome to work with the guys from Neck Deep again.
