Theo and Ian met while studying psychology at university. Ian was a writer boy, Theo was a video guy. Can I make it any more obvious? Theo suggested making a short film together one night over fajitas and, not having much going on at his flat, Ian agreed. The film wasn’t “traditionally” good, and the production didn’t “necessarily” go well, but what do we do when we fall off the horse? We get back on and we show that horse who’s boss by riding it until it is the one that is falling off the horse. Or something.
Theo went on to work in the industry as a director and editor, winning a Cannes Golden Lion in the process while Ian became a creative in the advertising world, working with immense brands like Google and Intel. Much like bacon and eggs, while the duo are good apart they’re so much better together. With complementary skill sets that let them polish each project until they can see their cheeky little faces in them, they’ve created award winning work and put some very strange things on film.
