Shot in a wet autumn in the Cotswolds with a crew of 4 skippered by young director, Guy Davies, ‘Falling’ is a flick book montage of a girl, played by Chloe Partridge, succumbing to her self destructive tendencies whilst dealing with her grief after a bereavement. The project reminded us of our halcyon days of making short films on a shoe string together as teenagers, only this time with a few years of professional experience under our belts. We scripted, produced, shot and edited this film over a mammoth 4 day weekend (apparently what filmmakers do when they have ‘time off’). The film went on to premier at X as well as winning ABC last year. Not bad for a weekend passion project.
