Drawing out the tone and essence of a song through direction in performance videos is always satisfying. This video in particular was a great opportunity – as the first video for the band, Theo and Ian got to craft and create their visual identity from scratch. That meant really paying attention to the personality of the band – who they are, how they are when performing, every bit of their persona – and translating it onto screen. Every band is absolutely unique and the duo work hard to make sure every performance video shows off those unique traits. In this case, that meant grit, energy, and more colour than you might expect.
